BEVERLY — Marilyn (Miller) Hopkinson 97, beloved wife of the late Victor Leroy Hopkinson, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.
Raised in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Earl W. and Marion C. (Rolfe) Miller. She earned her associates degree from Burdett College in Lynn.
Mrs. Hopkinson had been employed by Endicott College in Beverly until the time of her retirement. Prior to that she had worked for many years at Watertown Bank as the personal secretary to the president of the bank.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Cain and her husband, John of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sons, David R. Hopkinson and his wife, Karen Stafanski of Vermont and John W. Hopkinson of Beverly; six grandchildren, Dana, Heidi, Robert, Anne, Jessica and Melissa; and nine great-grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Richard Miller.
Service information: A memorial service will be held at the CAMPBELL Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., Beverly, Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019 at 3 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A visiting hour will be held prior to the service on Saturday from 2-3 p.m. Contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
