PEABODY — Mrs. Dorothy Marie (Miller) Smith, age 94, of Peabody, formerly of Lynn, died on Friday, Feb. 15, 2019 at the Pilgrim Rehabilitation and Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late John L. Smith.
Born and raised in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Marie (Michaud) Miller.
Dorothy was the mother of the late Steven Smith and Virginia Foster. She is survived by seven grandchildren, Michael Foster Jr., Ryan Foster, Matthew Foster, Steven Smith Jr., Robert Smith, Sean Smith, and Jenifer Smith; a daughter-in-law, Frances Smith; a son-in-law, Michael Foster; and five great-grandchildren.
Service information: A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 12 p.m. in the SOLIMINE Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Route 129), Lynn. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
