SAUGUS — Florence (Quinlan) Peach, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away at her home, age 84, on Feb. 13, 2019 after a short struggle with cancer.
A lifelong resident of Saugus, Florence was the youngest child of Thomas and Julia (Nally) Quinlan and the sister of the late Thomas, John and Frederick Quinlan. She worked for many years at the Saugus Town Hall clerk’s office and was a member of the Saugus Boosters club for more than 40 years.
Florence is survived by her husband of 59 years, William Peach; their children, William Peach Jr., Steven and Kimberly (Bailey) Peach, Katie and Thomas Kaminski; her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Quinlan; and her lifelong best friend, Marilyn Fahy.
“Po” loved being surrounded by her family and friends. She especially loved playing games with and attending the sporting events of her beloved grandchildren, Kirt, Kreg, Drew, Bailey, Samantha and Cameron.
Service information: The family will hold a “Celebration of Life” event for family and friends in March. Further details will be provided directly by the family.
