Joseph Dominic Cennami

It comes with great sadness to announce that on April 17th of 2018 the world lost a great man, Joseph Dominic Cennami. Joseph unexpectedly passed away at the young age of 59. Joseph D. Cennami will always be remembered as a great father, companion and dear friend to many. Joseph went by many nicknames such as, Knight Rider, Big Joe or simply Joey. Joe’s employment included GE and the MBTA.

Joseph was very compassionate about music, he listened to many genres but mostly it was the sound of Motown that rang through his speakers. He also had a love for sports, enjoyed playing cards and more importantly loved spending time with friends and family. Although Joseph passed at a young age, it is certain that he lived life to the fullest degree. He left an everlasting imprint on many and will never be forgotten. “It matters not how a man dies, but how he lives. The act of dying is not of importance, it lasts so short a time” (Johnson).

Joseph is survived by his fiancé Geneva Famulari; daughters, Nicole Chase, her husband Joseph and Jillian Cennami; sons, Joseph Cennami, his wife Briana, Jarell Cennami, his wife Carrie, and Anthony Famulari. Surviving siblings include, Patricia Cennami, Karen Arsenault, Kim Toomey, Beverly Sims and Frank Cennami. Surviving grandchildren include, Arianna, Jaden; Jake, Zoey; Phoenix, Morgan and Lauren and Trevin.  

Service information: His funeral service will be held Friday at 1O a.m. in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn.  Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday, 4 – 8 p.m.
