LYNN — Therese B. “Terry” (Bertrand Labarre) Flynn, age 92, of Lynn, passed away peacefully on Nov. 13, 2016 at Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.
She was born in Salem, the daughter of the late Alexander and Blanche (Dionne) Bertrand. She was raised and educated in Salem, Orange and Lynn.
Terry (as she was known to many of her friends) worked for many years for Fawcett Fuel Co. in Methuen. She also worked for American Airlines in Boston. She was a member of the Northeast Chapter of the American Airlines Vanguards since her retirement in 1986. Throughout her life, she was devoted to her family, particularly to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Terry is survived by her brother, Carl Bertrand of Lynn; her sister, Carol Franks of Sunnyvale, Calif.; her son, Kenneth Labarre and his wife Mildred of Marlboro; her daughter, Susan Cottrell and her husband Robert of W. Dennis; her grandchildren, Alison, Kenneth, Maryellen and Stephanie, her great-grandchildren, Brendan, Cavan, Cayden, Laura and Zoe. Many nieces, nephews and extended family members also survive her. She was predeceased by her sisters, infant Winefred, Barbara Pinkham and Betsy Gillis, her brother, Bob Bertrand and her loving husband, John H. Flynn. “We miss you all.”
