DOVER, N.H. — James Joseph Cotter, 69, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 23 at the Hyder House in Dover, N.H., surrounded by his loving family.
Jim was born April 8, 1947 to James and Paula Cotter in Lynn. Jim graduated from Lynn Trade School in 1964 and was actively involved with the Lynn Boys Club. An avid NASCAR fan, Jim most enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren and family.
Jim was employed by Shawmut Printing for 42 years, retiring in January of 2013. Jim was considered a man of integrity and was respected by all who knew him.
Jim is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carol Cotter of Exeter, N.H.; two sisters, Cindy Schrafft of Seabrook, N.H., and her children, Michael and Mindy, and Lori Burrage, her husband Earl Burrage of Simpsonville, S.C., and their children, Emily and Katie; two sons, James Cotter and his wife Kara Cotter of Exeter N.H., and Sean Cotter and his wife Sharon Cotter of Exeter N.H.; four grandchildren, Caleb Cotter and Sean Cotter of Sandown, N.H., and Jake Mudgett and Caden Cotter of Exeter, N.H.
