Natalia Grullon (Tia Nina), 88 years old, passed away peacefully at Salem Hospital on Monday, June 1, 2020.
She was a Lynn resident for more than 20 years. She was born on Jan. 6, 1932 in Moca, Dominican Republic to Ana Joaquina Ferreiras and Hipolito Grullon.
She was the sister of the late Manuel Nunez Sr., owner of La Fe Market in Lynn. She had no children, but is survived by many beloved brothers and sisters and lots of nieces and nephews, most of whom reside in Florida, New York and the Dominican Republic.
Tia Nina was a very loving, caring and fun person to be around. She cared deeply for all of her family and enjoyed traveling to these different places to visit them, when she was able to do so. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who were blessed to have known her.
Service information: A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2020 at 9 a.m. at the Pine Grove Cemetery.
