Lynnfield – Parker B. Holloway Jr., 93, beloved husband of the late Norma E. (Kenerson) Holloway, died Friday, May 25, 2019 at Care One at Essex Park in Beverly.
Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Brooklyn and New Jersey, he was the son of the late Parker B. Sr. and Lena Lee (Creed) Holloway. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from West Virginia Weslyan College WV and continued his education at Union Theological Seminary in New Jersey.
Mr. Holloway was a sales manager for BP Sousa until the time of his retirement.
A longtime resident of Lynnfield, he was a past member of the Lynnfield Planning Board, active in the Lynnfield Congregational Church and was past Master of the Lynnfield Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M. Parker enjoyed golf, bowling, scrabble and was a dedicated Red Sox fan. Most of all, he was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
Surviving him are three daughters, Darryl O’Shea and her late husband, Michael of Swampscott, Laurie Fitch and her husband, Warren of Hudson, NH and Stacy Sullivan and her husband, Bill of Ocean Island Beach, NC, one son, Brian Holloway and his wife, Barbara of Atlanta, GA, nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, a sister, Joy Lopez and her husband, Jose of Mexico City, Mexico. He was also the brother of the late Jean Kurlinski, Evelyn Briggs and Frances Schaffer.
Service information: His funeral services will be private. Arrangements by the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly.
