LYNN – Mrs. Jean M. (Dotolo) Kurra, 74 of Lynn, beloved wife of the late James Kurra passed away peacefully on Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.
Born in Toddington, England, Jean was the daughter of the late Vincent J. and Muriel (Roberts) Dotolo. Raised and educated in Lynn, she attended Lynn Public Schools and was a graduate of Lynn English High School class of 1962.
Jean spent her professional career as a waitress working for her family business, the Latin Villa Restaurant of Lynn where she worked each and everyday with her parents and other family members and also the Hilltop Steakhouse.
An eye for gorgeous art and unique artifacts, Jean loved to take in and add to her precious collections. She was an avid sports fan who loved to watch golf and was a devoted supporter of the New England Patriots and Boston Bruins. She had a great sense of humor and quick wit which will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
Jean is survived by her sister, Jodi Abate and her husband Lewis of Danvers, her brothers, Robert Dotolo and his wife Linda of Danvers and Ronald Dotolo and his wife Monica of Ossipee, NH and several nieces and nephews.
Service information: Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Peterson-O’Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) Danvers on Wednesday, June 5th from 4 to 6 P.M. with her funeral service to follow at 6 P.M.
