John S. Donohoe

CONCORD, N.H. — John S. “Jack” Donohoe, former Lynn police officer and retired special agent for the U.S. Treasury Department, died July 11, 2018.

Jack was a veteran of the Korean War and served as one of the original sky marshals during the airliner hijacking crisis of the early 1970s.  

He leaves three children, Jeffrey Donohoe of Contoocook, N.H., Sean Donohoe of Northborough, and Lisa Smith of Windham, N.H. He also leaves seven stepchildren, Stephen Winslow of Lynn, David Winslow of Merrimac (deceased), Maureen Grout of Saugus (deceased), Kathleen “Kelly” Jodoin of Lynn, Amy Ragonese of Merrimac, Christopher Mullen of Whitman, and William Mullen of Lynn. He also leaves several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  

Service information: Calling hours will be held at SOLIMINE Funeral Home, 426 Broadway, from 4-7 on Sunday, July 15, 2018. Funeral Mass at St. Pius V Church, 215 Maple St., Lynn, at 9 a.m. on Monday, July 16, 2018. Burial following in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lynn.
