LYNN — Roland Earl Lee II, of Lynn, died June 26 at the age of 82. An interior designer renowned for his elegant and sophisticated vision, his client list included UN diplomats as well as prestigious country clubs and hotels. He studied scenic and costume design at Carnegie Mellon University where he received a BFA in Drama. His career began as director of Scenic Design for the TV Division of U.S. Army Pictorial Center. In 1974, he founded his own interior design firm, RLA. He continued to work until his last days. He had homes in NYC and Fire Island Pines. He leaves behind many beloved friends.
