Mrs. Virginia M. “Ginny” (Munroe) Bolduc, 85 years, of Boston and formerly of Saugus. She is the wife of the late Richard White. She was born in Gloucester, the daughter of the late John and Myrtis (Nickerson) Munroe. She was raised in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1951. She also attended secretarial school for two years. Mrs. Bolduc lived in Saugus most of her life and the past 8 years in Boston.
Mrs. Bolduc was a member of the First Congregational Church in Saugus. She was head of the Handicap Commission in Saugus, a member and President of the Women’s Veteran’s Auxiliary in Saugus. Mrs. Bolduc was 1976 Person of the Year in Saugus. She was also president of A.T.O.M.S. She was president of the Saugus National Little League and also brought cheerleading to Saugus. She was a member of the Puppeteer’s of America Club.
She was employed as a preschool and nursery school teacher with Country Kid, Christ Child Nursery and the Jewish Community Center. She also was a professional puppeteer.
She is survived by her Daughter Alison Belyea and her husband Kevin of Saugus, a son Richard White and his wife Martha of Peabody, her grandchildren, Travis and Kyle White, AJ, Julie, Kayla and Eric Lanio, Kevin, Jr., Kerri and Karissa Belyea, a great grandson Travis White, Jr. She also leaves her brothers Edison Munroe and his wife Margie and Robert Munroe and his wife Velma and several nieces and nephews.
Service information: Mrs. Bolduc’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rte. 129) Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Cremation followed by private burial. Visiting hours are on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. just prior to her funeral.
