PEABODY — Mrs. Angelina “Angie” (Pinto) Vasapolli, of Peabody, formerly of Saugus, passed away at Brooksby Village in Peabody on Friday, May 18. She was the wife of the late John “Giovanni” Vasapolli.
Born in Wilmerding, Pa., Angelina was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Philomena (Rizzo) Pinto. Angie lived in Lynn and was a resident of Saugus for more than 50 years before moving to Peabody in 2005. She was a hairdresser for more than 50 years in Lynn before her retirement.
Mrs. Vasapolli leaves her two children, Attorney John Vasapolli and his wife Linda of Saugus, Joanne McGee and her husband Kevin of Derry, N.H.; three grandchildren, Max McGee, Joseph Vasapolli, David Vasapolli; one great-grandchild, Arianna Vasapolli; one brother, Joseph “Scoop” Pinto of Florida. She was predeceased by her two sisters, Lena Scire and Mary Pinto.
