STARKS, MAINE, formerly of Saugus – Mrs. Catherine L. (Burke) Graham, age 87, died on Wednesday, July 24th surrounded by her family at her home in Starks, Maine. She was the loving wife of Thomas Graham, Jr.

Born and raised in Saugus, she was the daughter of the late John and Jessie (Gillis) Burke. She was a graduate of Saugus High School and was a retiree of the United States Marshall Service. Catherine resided in Saugus for most of her life before moving to Florida for eight years and most recently moving to Starks, Maine.

In addition to her husband, Catherine leaves seven beloved children, David Hartigan and his wife Pixie of ME, Dennis Hartigan and his wife Susan of ME, James Hartigan, Jr. of ME, Michael Hartigan of Saugus , Joseph Hartigan and his wife Roberta of ME, Lorraine Gaeta and her husband William of ME, Shawn Hartigan and his wife Donna of Saugus; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by one grandson, a sister and several brothers.

Keith R. Ashley, 70

Keith R. Ashley, age 70, of Plaistow, NH, formerly of Lynn, MA, died peacefully at Salemhaven Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility on July 24, 2019.

Born on June 9, 1949 in Lynn, MA, he was the loving son of the late Edward E. and Phyllis G. (Porteous) Ashley and was also the brother of the late Scott Ashley. He is survived by his son, Colin Welch; his granddaughter, Olivia Welch; his brothers, Bruce and Robin Ashley; as well as many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Keith will always be remembered for his generous acts of kindness. He was a 1968 graduate of Lynn Trade High School. He worked as a car salesman for Bob Brest Buick and Mirak Dodge/Chevrolet and later for Eastman Gelatine Corp. as a test technician. In retirement, Keith worked as a pawnbroker for Plaistow Trading. In his spare time, he was an avid watch repairman and collected fine watches and antiques. He was also a former member of the North Shore Old Car Club and owned many vintage cars over the years.

John Andriopoulos, 94

LYNN — John Andriopoulos, age 94, of West Lebanon, New Hampshire and formerly of Lynn, passed away at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative & Hospice Care on Saturday, July 27, 2019. John was born on August 7, 1924, in West Lynn. He was the oldest son of Andrew and Georgia (Theodoropoulos) Andriopoulos. He married his loving wife, Chrisafula Olga (Panos) Andriopoulos on August 22, 1954, in Bennington, Vermont. John graduated from Lynn Classical High School in June 1943 and was inducted into the United States Army on June 16, 1943. He served with the 168th Engineers Combat Battalion, Headquarters Company. Throughout his military service, he served in battles and campaigns of Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe and liberated the concentration camp Ohrdruf. In defense of St. Vith, his unit was awarded the Distinguished Unit Citation and the Belgian Croix de Guerre. Upon returning from war in 1945, he graduated from Franklin Technical School in Boston and later got his Master Plumber’s License from the State of Massachusetts. He also held a Master Plumber’s License from the State of Vermont. John worked with his father and brother in their family business, serving Lynn, Massachusetts and the surrounding communities. He had a brilliant mind for engineering and continued that work for over 60 years, until his retirement at age 82 years young. He worked many years for Old Neighborhood Meats where his innovative and brilliant engineering designs were applied to the fabrication of the operation on many projects. His problem solving skills were unmatched. John was instrumental in organizing his Army Battalion reunions and helped spearhead the project for the erection of a monument at Ft. Devens to honor all those who served in the 168th Engineers Combat Battalion. John was one of a kind and the last of one of the greats of his generation. His generosity and willingness to help others and service to his country will not be forgotten.

In addition to his wife Chisafula, he leaves his daughter, Georgia Sofronas and her husband Demo of Norwich, Vermont; his two grandchildren John Sofronas and Anastacia Barr and her husband William Barr IV, who learned valuable life lessons from their grandfather; his four amazing great-grandchilden, Corban Sofronas, Chloe Sofronas, William Barr V and Ethan Barr, who have fond memories of spending time with him and his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Spiros Andriopoulos and his sisters, Calliope Gavrilles and Carol Andriopoulos.

Patricia Pasquale, 83

PEABODY — Mrs. Patricia (Devlin) Pasquale, 83, of South Peabody, died Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Beverly Hospital after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late William Patrick Devlin and Sarah F. (Kehoe) Devlin. She was born in Boston, raised in Lynn and attended St. Mary’s High School, Lynn. Pat was maried to the late Robert Pasquale Sr., with whom she shared 51 years of marriage.

She was well known to a whole generation of South Peabody children as “Mrs. Pat” working as an aide at St. Paul’s Preschool and the South Memorial School. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, and dancing with her husband, along with spending time with her family and friends “Up Country” in North Conway and vacationing in Naples, Florida.

She is survived by 2 sons, Robert H. Pasquale Jr. and his wife Donna of Georgetown and William J. Pasquale and his wife Doreen of Peabody; two daughters, Anne M. Comeau and her husband David of Peabody and Joanne “Jodi” Shaw and her husband Daniel of Peabody, 10 grandchildren, Brian and Caitlin Pasquale, Amy and Matthew Mcelwain, Scott and Heather Pasquale, Jessica Loughnane, Daniel Comeau, Michael and Matthew Quinlan, Victoria “Tori” and Robert Shaw, a brother, Robert Devlin and his wife Betty of Peabody, and many nieces and nephews. She was known as “GG” to her great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother William Devlin of No. Carolina and her grandson, William “Billy” Pasquale Jr.

PEABODY — Les Mercer, 83, of West Peabody, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Mass General Hospital with his loving family by his side due to complications after a recent automobile accident. He was the son of the late Arthur Mercer and his wife Lottie both of Malden, Maine and Nova Scotia. He was the loving husband of the late Gail (Pearse) Mercer whom he shared 47 years of marriage. He is the last of 12 siblings and leaves behind many nieces and nephews. He leaves behind his daughter Jill (Mercer) Price and her husband Dan, both of Lynn, his son Steven Mercer of Amesbury and his two grandsons, Thomas (TJ) Price and Christopher Price, both of Lynn. Born in Bucksport Maine, raised in Malden, he attended Malden High School. Les worked for 37 years as a carpenter for the MBTA until his retirement in 1990. He has been a long time member of the Wakefield Elks. Les spent many years coaching and serving on the board of directors for the Peabody Youth Hockey Program. He also enjoyed many years of traveling with this late wife and spending time with his extended family around the country. He is a fan of the Bruins, Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics. He mostly enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports and attending all of their school events and graduations. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Barbara H. Dempsey

Barbara Helen (Fisher) Dempsey passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 25 after a brief illness at Hunt Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Born in White Plains, NY Barbara was the loving daughter of the late Alfred and Helen Fisher. She was educated in Lynn and a graduate of Classical High School 1955.

After raising her children, Barbara worked as a secretary and retired as a housekeeper from Devlin Nursing home.

Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, walking the beach, traveling and her daily coffee dates with her close friends. She was always known for her laughter, love of enjoying a night out with friends and her Sunday afternoons with family on Murdock Drive.

Barbara is survived by sons Thomas of Danvers, Timothy (Lisa) of Reading and grandsons Patrick Dempsey of Reno, NV and Thomas Jr of Danvers. In her death, Barbara leaves behind her brother, Gerry A. Fisher of Littler River, SC and her three nieces Tracey (Michael) Woronka of Windham, NH, Bethann (Stacy) Hooks of Southington, CT and Darlene (Lee) Raxter of Charlotte, NC and 5 great nieces Lindsey, Courtney, Molly, Madelyn, Savannah and one great nephew Andrew. Barbara also leaves behind her special friend and loving former daughter in law Robyn Dempsey of Danvers.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Helen and Alfred, son Robert and sister in law Judy Fisher.

Enrico R. Perlino

LYNN –Enrico R. Perlino, lifelong resident of Lynn, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019 after a long illness with his family by his side.  Born in Lynn on August 5, 1948, Enrico was the devoted son of the late Carl and Elaine (Carbone ) Perlino.

The beloved brother of Carl Perlino and his wife Joanne, of Lynn, Rocco Perlino and his wife Barbara, of Florida, Linda Cunningham and her husband James of Nahant,  and the late Thomas Perlino; Enrico is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Born and educated in Lynn, Rick worked for the Department of Public works in Lynn for many years. Rick was a quiet person who enjoyed the simple things in life. He enjoyed his rides to Maine and New Hampshire to be on the ocean and lakes, enjoying the beautiful scenery. He had a love for his old black and white cowboy movies, was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan who enjoyed watching the games, but most of all he loved his many cats that he has had over the years, but none more special than his cat Max.

Visiting hours will be held at Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. His Funeral Service will be at CUFFE-MCGINN Funeral Home following visiting hours at 12:30 PM. Mr. Richard H. Ayers, 82 years of Lynn died Friday, July 26, 2019 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. He was the husband of the late Eleanor M. (McGarry) Ayers. He was born in Beverly, the son of the late Ralph and Alice (Brown) Ayers. He was raised in Beverly and attended Beverly Schools. He has lived in Lynn over 40 years.

He was a construction laborer for many years. He also owned The Fishtale Market Restaurant in Salem, Mass. and the Brown derby Restaurant in Methuen. He also loved Bingo and horse racing. He was a diehard Patriots and Red Sox Fan.

He is survived by his daughters, Monique Gilbert-Hoffman of NJ, Leslie Howe and her husband Tyrone of Lynn, and April Ayers of Lynn, He leaves three grandchildren Jacob Hoffman of NJ, Olivia and Jevon Howe of Lynn, three brothers Paul Ayers, Kenneth Ayers and Alan Ayers.

John B. Drew, 64

John Brian Drew, 64, of Litchfield, NH passed away suddenly at his home on July 28, 2019. Born in Lynn, MA on May 15, 1955, he was son of the late Walter Drew and Virginia (Mackey) Halley. He enjoyed 36 years of marriage with his wife, Peggy (Hecker) Drew.

John was raised in Lynn, MA and was a resident of Litchfield for the past 20 years. He will be most remembered by those who loved him for his enduring sense of humor, following his beloved Patriots with family and friends, his love of all things Christmas, and his love of animals.

He will be missed by his wife, Peggy Drew; his siblings, Donna (Lee) Alessandriai, Leslie (Kevin) Tibbitts, Lori (Vinny) Armenio, Scott Halley, Donna (Michael) Renkert, the Rev. MSGR James Halley; as well as multiple nieces and nephews.

Service information: Visitation will be Tuesday, July 30th from 4-7pm and Wednesday, July 31st from 10-11am. John’s funeral service will be Wednesday, July 31st at 11am. Visitation and funeral will be held at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH.

Marilyn L. McElroy, 81

Mrs. Marilyn L. (Annis) McElroy, 81 years of Nashua New Hampshire, died on Saturday, July 27, 2019 in Langdon Place of Nashua Assisted Living after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Kenneth H. McElroy. She was born in Lynn, the daughter of the late Charles and Irma (Brown) Annis. She was raised in Lynn and was a 1956 graduate of Lynn English High School. She also attended North Shore Community College. She lived in Lynn all of her life with exception to the last two years living in Nashua.

Marilyn was employed with the General Electric Company, Riverworks plant as a secretary in the Personnel Office. She retired in 1998 after 37 and a half years. She was a member of the GE Riverettes and served as President as well as other offices. She was an avid Bingo player, and devoted Red Sox fan. She loved to travel especially to Las Vegas. She was a longtime Sacred Heart Communicant and volunteer. She was a loving and devoted Mother and Grandmother. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Langdon Place for their love and support.

She is survived by her daughter and sons, Sheryl L. Haselton and her husband William of Nashua, N.H., Kenneth J. McElroy and his partner Josh Hyatt of Salem John R. McElroy and his fiancé Jackie Lane of Paignton, England, three grandchildren Alexander, Katharine and Nicholas Haselton all of Nashua, N.H., two brothers, Charles R and M Glenn Annis both of New Hampshire, two sisters Elaine M. Gover of North Charleston, SC and S. May Jenkins of Epsom, N.H. She also leaves her nieces and nephews and many close friends. She is the sister of the late Clayton Annis.

Ronald J. Valeri, 85

YORK, Maine — Ronald J. Valeri, 85, of York, Maine, died Saturday, July 27, 2019 after a long illness, and was a brave warrior. 

Born in Salem to the late Edmund and Nora (McNaught) Valeri, Ronald lived in Lynn most of his life, and spent the last 14-plus years living in York, Maine, with his loving wife of almost 65 years, Carol (Buttrick) Valeri. Ronald attended Sacred Heart School and then Lynn English High School. 

On Nov. 13, 1950 Ronald enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in Korea during the Korean Conflict. After his service, Ronald worked for Hutchinson Lumber and then Gove Lumber for many years as a salesman. Ronald loved carpentry and he was always the “fix it man” for his family. He enjoyed boating and snowmobiling at his cabin in Ossipee, N.H., photography, as well as dancing and socializing. Most especially, Ronald loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Ronald is survived by his wife, Carol; daughter, Karen McPherson and her significant other Donald Cheever of Lynn, daughter, Karla DeFuria and significant other Chad Collins of Florida, daughter, Rhonda Peabody and husband Dean of Georgetown; son, Michael Valeri and wife Paulette of Ossipee, N.H.; sister-in-law, Mary Valeri of Nahant; 14 grandchildren, Julie Potter and husband George, Angela Maggs and husband Jessie, James Giordani and significant other Jacklyn Savoy, Thomas McPherson and significant other Rachel Mazzolla, Brittany McPherson, David Jackson, Laura Jackson, Andrea Jackson, Stephen DeFuria, Michael DeFuria, Stephanie DeFuria, Deanna Peabody and husband Dan Smith, Nathaniel Peabody and wife Kate, Joshua Valerie Peabody, Michael Ronald Valeri; 14 great-grandchildren; and 11 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, siblings Virginia Valeri, Francis Valeri and wife Lillian, Jack Valeri, Marie and Angelo Cacciatore, and his granddaughter Chelsea DeFuria.

LYNN — Lois N. (Gleason) Tower, age 74, of Lynn, died Tuesday in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late James M. Tower. A lifelong Lynn resident, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Mary (Henry) Willis.  

Lois had worked for Walbar Metals in Peabody until her retirement in 2006. She loved her trips to Mohegan Sun with her sister-in-law, Margie, and also enjoyed traveling. She was an avid gardener and loved to shop. She also loved her dogs and cats.

She is survived by two children, Scott Tower and his wife Kelly, and Kelly Arons and her husband Donald, all of Lynn; four grandchildren, Christopher, Dougie, Victoria and Rebecca; as well as her nephew and niece, Tom Lussiano and LeeAnne Botelho. She was the sister of the late Linda Lussiano.

LYNN — Donald J. Dennehy, age 97, of Lynn, died Wednesday, July 24, at Carriage Hill Assisted Living in Madbury, N.H., after a short period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Ruth M. Dennehy, with whom he shared 38 years of marriage.

Don was born in Swampscott and was the son of the late James H. Dennehy and Lillian E. (Doughty).

He leaves his son, Donald H. Dennehy and his wife Gladenia; daughter, Joan Gowell and her husband Lawrence, son, John Dennehy and his wife Melinda; and his daughter-in-law, Lisa (Dennehy) Brown. He was predeceased by his son James Dennehy. He also leaves his stepson, C. Butch Butler and his wife Elaine, stepson, Bryan Butler and his wife Nancy; stepdaughter, Nancy Healey and stepson, David Butler. He was predeceased by stepson Bruce Butler. He leaves 25 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Irene Monson, Wallace Dennehy, Herbert Dennehy, Virginia Tarbuck and Janice Malo.

Don was a lifelong resident of Lynn and was an automobile mechanic for Nel Nick Motors in Lynn and Thomas Ford in Peabody. He was a World War II veteran and a member of VFW Post 345. He was a member and Past Master of the Golden Rule Lodge in Wakefield. He was an avid hunter and still deer hunted up until 2017.

Service information: Funeral will be held at PARKER Funeral Home, 35 Franklin St., Lynn, on Friday at 12 p.m. Visiting hours will be prior to the funeral from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Puritan Lawn in Peabody. Joan E. Nicholson, 81

NAPLES, Fla. — Mrs. Joan E. (Esposito) Nicholson, age 81, formerly of Saugus, died on Monday, July 29 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was the wife of the late George W. Nicholson.

Born in Winthrop and raised in Saugus, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Adeline (D’Arcangelo) Esposito. A graduate of Saugus High School in 1955, she and her husband owned and operated Sanborn News & Convenience Store. They retired to Grantham, N.H., and then to Naples, Fla., where she enjoyed the beach, bocce, the pool, the sun and “Happy Hours” with friends and neighbors.

Mrs. Nicholson leaves one son, Timothy Nicholson and his wife Kathy of Saugus; two daughters, Linda Nicholson and her fiancé Dick Stewart of Saugus, and Laura and Doug Nicholson of New Hampshire; and four grandchildren, Julie and her husband Kevin Moccia, Timothy, Bryant and Shelby.  She is predeceased by her brother, Nicholas Esposito, and her sister, Geraldine Esposito.

NAHANT — Constantine (Taki) Demetrios Pezaris, of Nahant, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2019 at the age of 95. 

Constantine was born on May 2, 1924 in Thessaloniki Greece, to the late Demetrios Pezaris and Angeliki Fotiou Pezaris of Zankinthos, Greece, and loving husband of Marianna Beck-Pezaris of Budapest, Hungary. 

He is survived by his brother, Stelio Pezaris; and also by his three children, Demetrius Pezaris, Angelica Mazzone and Nicholas Pezaris; and by his four grandchildren, Veronica Pezaris, Gabriella Mazzone, Christina Mazzone and Kathryn Pezaris, as well as a number of other loving relatives and close friends.

Service information: A wake will be held on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2019 between 5-7 p.m. at PARKER Funeral Home, 35 Franklin St., Lynn, MA 01902.

Dorothy T. McCurdy, 87

LYNN — Dorothy T. (Quigley) McCurdy, of Lynn, died at the Brudnick Center in Peabody on July 30, 2019 at the age of 87. 

Dorothy was born in Everett, a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Melrose and went on to earn her degree from Emmanuel College in Boston. She was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Lynnfield for many years and resided in Lynn for 60 years. Dorothy worked as a food chemist for Old Neighborhood Foods in Lynn for 27 years before her retirement. She was an avid reader and member of the Emmanuel College Alumni. Dorothy was a former volunteer at My Brother’s Table in Lynn, always stayed in touch with her friends and her family was the most important part of her life. 

She was the beloved wife of the late Victor E. McCurdy for 56 years. Loving mother of Jim McCurdy and his wife Pamela of Dover, Steve McCurdy and his wife Joyce of Milton, Kevin McCurdy and his spouse Roger Cason of California and Maureen Keiran and her fiancé Michael Curley of Ipswich. Cherished grandmother of Jon, Courtney, Zach, Samantha, Lizzy, Madison and Will. Caring sister of James Quigley and his wife Helen of Medford. Also survived by nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. 

Service information: A funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 758 Salem St., Lynnfield, on Friday, Aug. 9 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Jack passed away at The Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers on July 27, 2019 after a long battle with cancer. 

Son of Rosemary Martin of Lynn and the late John K. Martin Jr. of Atkinson, N.H. He is survived by his daughter, Teri Jean Martin of Salem and her mother Kim Barnard of Douglas. He also leaves two brothers, Thomas D. and his wife Karen, and Michael D. Martin, all of Lynn; his uncle, David Landry and wife Sandy of Plymouth; his aunt, Eleanor Landry of Salem; two nieces and two nephews; and many cousins and their children. He was the brother of the late James B. Martin (died Feb. 2, 2018).

Service information: A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, Lynnfield Street, Lynn. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Cherished grandmother of Jared and Amanda Jaffe, Jordan Jaffe, Jonathan Jaffe, Marissa Tripolsky and Sean Smith, Ally and Craig Stanton, Danny Tripolsky and Jill Bobadilla, Devyn Jaffe, Austin Jaffe, Ian Jaffe, Brett Finegold, Kara and George Alexander, Jenna Finegold, Hannah Finegold, Justin Winschel, Marlana Winschel, Sophia Winschel, Kevin Winschel. Elaine grew up in Chelsea, graduated from Chelsea High School and raised her family in Swampscott. She was a longtime member of Temple Israel/Shirat Hayam, Hadassah and ORT. She volunteered for many years at Lynn Hospital. She loved spending winters in Florida and socializing with her amazing group of friends. She cherished above all her time spent with her large family, making sure she spent time with each and every grandchild and making them feel that they were the most special person on the planet. She will be greatly missed by all.

Service information: A funeral service for Elaine will be held on Friday, Aug. 2, 2019 at 10 a.m. in STANETSKY-HYMANSON Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St., Salem, MA 01970. Bruce A. Anderson, 78

LYNN — Bruce Alexander Anderson, 78, a lifelong Lynn resident, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 30 at Salem Hospital. Bruce was the beloved and devoted husband of Gail Lillian (Samuelson) Anderson of Lynn, with whom he shared  40 years of marriage.  

Born in Lynn, Bruce was the son of the late William and Ellen (Shea) Anderson. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea during the Vietnam War. Bruce owned and operated Lynn Carpet for more than 47 years.

Bruce was the  loving father of Robert Anderson and his partner, Ellen of Gloucester,  Lorrie Dodge and her partner, John Collins of Peabody, Colleen Devaney and her husband, Shawn of Merrimack, N.H., Michael Sibelle, Bruce Anderson and his wife, Pamela, all of Lynn, Dianne Conrad of Swampscott, Sean Anderson and his wife, Paula of Danvers, Angela Anderson of Saugus and Eric Anderson of Lynn; the cherished grandfather of Cameron, Walter, Danielle, Sarah, Shane, Emily, Taylor, Caylee, Alyssa, Katerina, Lia, Añgele, Anthony, Fanell and Eric; the adoring great-grandfather of Isabella and  Connor; the dear brother of William Anderson of California and the late Carol Brunell and Ellen Ellsworth; the foster brother of Ronald Ross of Ossipee, N.H., and the uncle of many nieces and nephews.    

Bruce enjoyed spending time with his entire family, especially days at the ocean and camping, including several trips to Pine Knoll Campground in Albany, N.H. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, including their weekend swimming outings. He will lovingly be remembered as wonderful family man, a great husband, and a terrific father and grandfather. 

Service information: Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, Aug. 3 from 2-5 p.m. at CUFFE-MCGINN Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn, followed by a funeral service at 5 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home. Arthur Lucia, 95

LYNN — Arthur Lucia, age 95, of Lynn, died at home after a brief illness. A lifelong Lynn resident, he was the son of the late Frank and Frances (DeMaci) Lucia.  

Arthur was a World War II veteran. He most recently was a monitor for MassTran and delivered meals-on-wheels for GLSS, his most favorite job ever! For decades he was the sole proprietor of Lucia’s Television Service in Lynn. For the past 50 years he enjoyed his weekends with his wife, Jacqueline, at his vacation home in Maine. He was an avid painter, loved music, movies and his work.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jacqueline Lucia of Lynn; his daughter, Gale Moore of Virginia; his son, Arthur Lucia and daughter-in law Sandra Lucia of Methuen, and his son, John Lucia of Lynn; his grandsons, Bruce Moore and Shane Moore of Virginia, his granddaughters, Kimberly and Nicole Lucia of Methuen; and his great-grandson, Jaden Moore of Virginia.

Service information: Visiting hours on Sunday, Aug. 4 from 2-6 p.m. at SOLIMINE Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Route 129), Lynn. The funeral Mass is Monday, Aug. 5 at 9 a.m. at St. Pius Church, Lynn.
