LYNN — Mr. Stephen A. Caissie, 67, of Lynn passed into the presence of his Lord on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016, at Massachusetts General Hospital after a courageous battle with liver disease. He was the husband of Priscilla (Maclary) Caissie. He was born in Lynn, the son of the late Arthur J. Caissie and Priscilla (Fuller) Caissie. He was raised in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn English High School, Class of l966. Mr. Caissie lived in Lynn all of his life.
He graduated from Franklin Institute in Boston and also took some classes at Wentworth Institute where he received additional training. He worked most of his life in the drafting business. He enjoyed puttering in his workshop and “mancave” on refinishing furniture and finding treasures upon his many jaunts to antique stores and thrift shops. His greatest joy, however, was spending time with his family. He was a member of both the East Baptist Church in Lynn and more recently, the West Congregational Church in Peabody. At East Baptist Church he was involved in many areas as a Boys Brigade leader, member of the Board of Trustees, sang in the sanctuary choir and also served in the Sunday School. He also loved watching the Red Sox, N.E. Patriots and the Boston Bruins.
In addition to his wife, Priscilla, with whom he shared 43 years of marriage, he leaves his son, Christopher S. Caissie of North Reading and a daughter, Noelle E.
