Lynn — Theresa (Niebrzydowski) Matvichuk, age 87, of Lynn died Aug. 16, at Saugus Care and Rehabilitation Center after a lengthy illness.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Marcella Niebrzydowski and wife of the late Edward Matvichuk, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.
She was employed in the Aircraft Division of General Electric for 17 years. She was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School. Theresa enjoyed boating with her husband who were longtime members of the Lynn Yacht Club.
Theresa is survived by one son, Darryl Matvichuk and his wife, Kim, of Lynn and one grandson, Darryl Jr., and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Dana Matvichuk and Cindy Rosignoll. She is also predeceased by her siblings, Edward, Alice and Stella Niebrzydowski, Edna Vazza, Rita Krochmal and Dorothy Dziezic.
The family would like to give special thanks to all of those who gave such great care to Theresa at Saugus Care and Rehabilitation.
