Glenn R. Anderson, 63

LynnGlenn R. Anderson, age 63 years, of Lynn, died unexpectedly Saturday morning at his home after a brief illness. He was the husband of Cheryl L. (Raymond) Anderson, with whom he shared 39 years together and 28 years of marriage.

Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Harry V. and Doris E. (Hawes) Anderson. Glenn attended Lynn schools and graduated from Lynn Vocational Technical Institute, Class of 1972. He received an associate degree from Salem State University, and a bachelor’s degree from Boston University.

Glenn was employed as a Social Worker and was employed by several local agencies. He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed working on his 1970 ½ Camaro. He was a sports fan and enjoyed watching all local sports teams. He loved his cats and fish pond in his yard. Glenn was the captain of the dart team at Celley’s. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Skye Anderson of Salem, one step-son Steven and his wife, Theresa Belair, of Hillsboro, N.H., one stepdaughter, Tammy, and her husband, Anthony Bufalino, of Hillsboro, N.H., two sisters, Kim Fuller of Peabody, Holly Kirkness of Peabody, four grandchildren, Steve Moody of Clarksville, Tenn., Austin Belair of Franklin, N.H., Brandon and Dylan Belair of Hillsboro, N.H., two nephews, Adam Fuller of Farmington, N.Y., Jesse Kirkness of Peabody, and a large extended family.

Service information: Memorial services will be held at the First Lutheran Church, 280 Broadway, Lynn, on Saturday at 1 p.m., to which relatives and friends are invited to attend.
