Kenneth F. Denham, of Marston Mills and Lakeville passed away on May 7, 2020. Beloved and devoted husband of Doris J. (Morgan) Denham for 68 years. Loving father of the late Kenneth E. Denham (1953-1976), Patricia G. Denham of North Easton, and David J. Denham and his wife Liane (Jedrey) of Norton. Grandfather of his beloved grandsons Thomas E. Denham and Nicholas S. Denham.
Ken was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps (USAAC) in World War II. After being discharged from the USAAC he attended Louisiana State University (LSU). While at LSU Ken was an instructor. In 1949 he received an electrical engineering degree, BSEE, from LSU. Ken graduated in the Engineering Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi (National Honor Society). Ken was employed at General Electric (GE) for 42 years as a Test Engineer, Motor Specialist, Sub Section Manager, Manager and Sales Engineer. During his time with GE he and his family lived in Ohio, Upstate New York, Tennessee and Massachusetts. Upon retiring from GE he became a tax preparer for H&R Block on Cape Cod for 16 years. Ken was avid reader, enjoyed logic puzzles, card games and tending to his property.
A private service will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lynn, MA. A public celebration of his life and service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent in Memory of Ken to his son’s memorial scholarship fund at UNH, the Kenneth E. Denham Memorial Scholarship at the University of New Hampshire.
