We are all deeply saddened with the sudden unexpected passing of Tina Obdens at 55 years young on Wednesday, April 8 th. Tina was a devoted wife and friend. She loved her family dearly. She never missed a niece or nephew’s birthday party, graduation or ceremony. She had a huge heart and tried as hard as she could to make everyone happy. She gave so much of herself to others. Tina loved all sports and of course was a huge fan of all things Beverly and certainly New England. Tina and her husband Don were two peas in a pod. No two could have been closer or help each other more than those two. Their love for each other was unquestioned, and they were truly best friends.
Tina loved watching sports with her family, close friends and especially Don. Tina looked forward to any family gathering or event. She spent many summers running with nieces and nephews around Lynch Park in Beverly.
She spent time with friends at Patriots place and she even read off a Patriots draft pick on the NFL network. The only trouble she might have had was trying to figure out which Patriots shirt to wear!
Tina was also very involved in local Saugus events. She loved volunteering with the Saugus Veterans council and enjoyed Founders Day.
Tina leaves behind her husband Don, father Irving Guay and Connie McNeil, sister Deb Francis, brothers Mike Guay, Bob Guay and his fiancé Deb Schutzman. Niece Katreena Francis and her fiancé Scott Owens, nephews Thomas Francis, Ben Francis. Nephew Mike Guay and his fiancé Amy Finnegan, niece Aimee and Matt Hall and their children Rebecca, Jacob and Grace, Kyra and Rob Simoneau and their children Hailey, Ethan, triplets Gavin, Ryan and Nathan. Many other friends and families – her adopted Patriots family from Atlanta Nick Tiliacos his wife Helen, son John and daughter Irene.
