LYNNFIELD — Sandra Roulier, of Lynnfield, died at her home on Friday, March 27 surrounded by her children and by the voices of her friends and family. She had a vigor for living, loving, and laughing with friends and family. Sandie was 77.

Born in Lynn, Sandra was the daughter of the late Lincoln and Ruth Walker and was a longtime resident of Lynnfield. She graduated from Wakefield Memorial High School and Essex Agricultural School. Sandra was the loving wife of the late Paul R. Roulier, with whom she shared 43 years of marriage.

Sandra was a hairdresser, homemaker and mother for many years. Sandra held various part time jobs, her favorite being a front-end manager (the enforcer) at NeighborCare/CVS Pharmacy at Brooksby Village.

Sandra enjoyed life in many ways … exercising her mind and body on a good walk around town, a good book, singing in the St. Margaret & Blessed Sacrament Church Choir, and traveling. She treasured her friendships and hobbies, was a longtime member of a local bowling league and gathered regularly with friends for a game of scrabble or cribbage. She cherished her grandchildren and shared her wonder of the outdoors and joy of games with them.

Sandra is survived by sons, Michael P. Roulier and girlfriend Jill Wilson of Towaco, N.J., David Roulier and wife Melinda of Woodstock, Ga.; her daughter, Leanne M. Miner and husband Laurence of Fremont, N.H.; five grandchildren, Janette and Cameron Roulier of New Jersey and Ethan, Brady and Griffin Roulier of Georgia; two sisters, Janet Lewis of Florida and Karen Somerby of Maine; one brother, Robert Walker of Massachusetts; longtime loving companion Navy Senior Chief Jack Klecker of Saugus; and several nieces and nephews.

Sandra is “off to college,” having made an anatomical gift to University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester. In these times of coronavirus the family is asking loved ones to focus on the living and community in this time of need. Condolences may be sent to c/o Leanne Miner at Flying M Farm, 63 South Road in Fremont, N.H. In lieu of flowers, consider planting a spring perennial in memory of Sandra or making a donation to Care Dimensions Hospice.

Service information: The family will have a Celebration of Life in the future.
