Christopher Philip (“Chris”) Oesterlin passed away on Dec. 13, 2019. He was 28 years old.
Born in Salem Hospital, Chris was a lifelong resident of Nahant. He was currently a full time student at New England Law in Boston. Chris was a graduate of St. John’s Prep and Bucknell University. Chris’s passion was running and he was a member of the track and cross country teams at both St. John’s and Bucknell. He counted his teammates and coaches as among his greatest friends.
Chris leaves behind his parents, Phil and Pam Oesterlin; and his companion, Jenna Farmer of Lewisburg, Pa. He also leaves behind his lifelong caretakers Debbie, John and Melissa Kasper; his beloved cousins, Jessica Brigham Kinder and Tom Brigham, Elizabeth Eadler, Arielle Cormier, Brad Anderson, Joseph and Alicia Ricci, Ashley Travis Murtha, Amanda Travis Finn and Ryan Travis. Aunts and uncles Marianne (Mandy) and Will Brigham, Sarah (Sally) Brown, Joanne and Richard Ricci, Patricia (“TT”) and Ralph Travis and Norm Asmar.
Service information: There will be a memorial Mass for Chris later this spring. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced at a later date.
