Helen Charlotte Frasca Krull, age 97, formerly of Lynn, died Saturday in a local nursing home after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Krull.
Born in Saugus, she was the daughter of the late Michele Angelo and Maria (Giordanni) Frasca. A graduate of Lynn Classical High School, she had lived in Lynn for the greater part of her life.
Helen served in the United States Navy during World War II. She retired after 30 years as a supervisor with the Internal Revenue Service.
She is survived by four children, Nadine D’Arpino, Susan Germano, Robin Krull and Louis Krull; her sister, Virginia Doherty; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including her devoted granddaughter, Helen D’Arpino. She was predeceased by her granddaughters Nina Marie D’Arpino and Carina Joy D’Arpino, and her siblings Anthony, Dominic, John, Salvatore and Victor Frasca, Susie Mancini, Angelina “Norah” Romeo and Alice Boyer.
Service information: Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the SOLIMINE Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Route 129), Lynn, followed by a funeral Mass in Holy Family Church, Lynn, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
