LYNN — Earline L. Jensen, age 90, of Lynn, died unexpectedly Sunday at Salem Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Thomas G. Jensen, with whom she shared 69 years of marriage.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Louise (Hart) Castle. She attended Lynn schools. As a young woman she was employed in several area shoe shops and the Donut Shop in Central Square. Earline enjoyed sewing, crafts, painting and playing the organ. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Linda M. and Dennis Floyd of Peabody, Elaine M. and Vic Scalona of The Villages, Fla., Catherine L. and Kenneth Harvey of Tallahassee, Fla.; one sister, Marilyn Tansey of Lynn; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Donna Osborne and grandmother of the late Daniel Harvey.
Service information: Visiting hours will be held at the PARKER Funeral Home, 35 Franklin St., Lynn, on Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., funeral service to follow at 1 p.m., to which relatives and friends are invited to attend.
