M. Alliene (Robinson) Hezekiah, 95, a longtime resident of Kings Lynne, (formerly known as America Park), died at home surrounded by family on June 13, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Oliver “Joe” Hezekiah with whom she shared nearly 60 wonderful years of marriage.
Born on July 12, 1923 in Winnemucca, NV, she was the daughter of the late Stuart Robinson and the late Maude Alliene Robinson, and was lovingly raised by Frances Robinson due to the loss of her mother at childbirth.
In her youth, Alliene was both an accomplished musician and a well-rounded athlete. She was a trombonist in the Winnemucca Town Band, played the piano, and was a member of her high school’s softball, volleyball, and synchronized swimming teams.
A fun-loving free spirit all her life, Alliene was an enthusiastic boxing and rodeo fan, and enjoyed gardening, camping, crafting, and the occasional casino excursion. Also active in community affairs, she served as a board member of the Kings Lynne Residents Council for many years. Before retiring in 1985, she was employed by General Electric as a Secretary and Shipping Clerk in the Aircraft Engine Group of the Riverworks Plant for twelve years.
She is survived by her children, Alan Hezekiah and wife, Alaina Keyes, Joyce Hezekiah, Midge Hezekiah, Chuck Hezekiah and husband, Derek Price; her grandchildren, Taidgh McClory and wife, Lynne McClory, DVM, Rachel Hezekiah and wife, Jessica Yurkofsky, Rosalie Hezekiah, DVM, and husband, Ryan Herrick, and Bianca Hezekiah; her great-grandchildren, Kye, Davin, and Estelle McClory; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Service information: Relatives and friends are cordially invited to join in the celebration of Alliene’s life on Friday, July 12, 2 p.m., at the Kings Lynne Community Building.
