LYNN — PFC Research Delva, age 20, of Lynn, passed away June 8, 2019.
He attended Connery Middle School and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School, Class of 2018. He enlisted into the United States Army on June 26, 2018. He attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, S.C. He went on to Advanced Individual Training (AIT) in MOS 92A (Automated Logistical Specialist) at Fort Lee, Va. Upon graduating AIT he was assigned to the 4th Engineer, 36th Engineering Brigade of the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson, Colo. He was promoted to his current rank of Private First Class on May 1, 2019.
Research is survived by his mom, Marie; his dad, Pierre; his brother, Seartch; and his sister, Irene.
Service information: His visitation will be in the GOODRICH Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn, on Friday 4-7 p.m. His funeral service will be held in the East Baptist Church, 300 Western Ave., Lynn, on Saturday at 8 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
