It is unfortunate to announce that on Thursday, April 23, 2019, Patricia Ann (Smith) Bozarjian passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her beloved son and daughter. She was the daughter of the late Marion and Thaddeus (Ted) Urban.
Our mother will be remembered as an exceptional daughter, mother, grandmother, nurse and friend.
She was an incredibly beautiful, intelligent, energetic, compassionate, adventurous and courageous woman who touched the lives of anyone who ever met her.
She was a registered nurse at Union Hospital for more than 20 years and took tremendous pride in her profession that she so dearly loved and was so very good at. She ended her career as the nursing supervisor where she will be remembered not only for her superior supervisory skills but also her cartful of ice cream sundaes.
She was a world traveler, a skier, a philosopher and an artist. She loved pretty dresses and hats, gardening, the beach and Mercedes Benzes.
She took great joy in being grandmother, another passion of hers that she excelled at. She loved nothing more than to be with Christian, Casey, Robbie, Brooklyn or Harry. Whether it was just sitting and talking, or more likely than not, shopping.
As her children we could not have had a more loving, fun, nurturing, supportive, honest example of how we should go forth in this life.
She leaves behind her daughter, Karyne Bazzano and her children Christian and Casey; her son and his wife, Robert and Mary Bozarjian and their children, Robbie, Brooklyn and Harrison; her cousin, Holly Smith; and many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
We would like to thank her many friends who helped her on this journey; most notably her fellow nurses who gave so selflessly of their love, friendship, time and expertise. The comfort this provided our family was immeasurable.
Service information: Services will be small and private per her wishes.
