Constance V. Tenaglia, 97

LYNN — Mrs. Constance V. (Parker) Tenaglia, 97 years, of Lynn, died peacefully on Monday, March 4, 2019 at Prescott House in North Andover, surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Benjamin M. Tenaglia Jr.

She was born in Lynn, the daughter of the late Inez (Dyer) Parker. Constance was raised in Lynn by the Hatch Family. She graduated from Lynn English High School and lived in Lynn all of her life.

She contributed to the war effort through her employment at the General Electric Co., Riverworks plant in Lynn. She was a Campfire Girl in her youth and was a Girl Scout Troup Leader later. Her love was her family and her dogs. She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church.

She is survived by her children, Martha Tenaglia and her partner Robert Levinson of Lynn and Woonsocket, R.I., Benjamin M. Tenaglia III of Bethlehem, Pa., Andrew T. Tenaglia and his wife Lisa of Atkinson, N.H., Peter L. Tenaglia and his wife Maureen of Sandown, N.H.; her six grandchildren, Benjamin IV, Rebecca, Abigale, Andrew Jr., Scott Tenaglia and Alyssa Jackson; one great-grandson, Samuel. She also leaves several nieces and nephews, and a sister-in-law, Eleanor Tenaglia.

Service information: Her funeral will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. from the SOLIMINE Funeral Home, 67 Ocean St. (Route 1A), Lynn, followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Lynn, at 11 a.m. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are on Friday from 8:30-10:30 a.m. on prior to her funeral.
