NAHANT — Alicia Elizabeth (O’Shea) Quinn, age 92, of Nahant, died peacefully in her home on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2019. She was the wife of her high school sweetheart and the “Love of her Life,” the late John P. Quinn, with whom she shared 65 years of marriage.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late George and Alice O’Shea. She was a graduate of Lynn English High, Class of 1943.
Alicia is survived by her children, Michael Quinn and his wife Patricia of Chelmsford, Mary Jo Sanborn and her husband Paul of Nahant, John Quinn Jr. of Nahant, Deborah Quinn of Basel, Switzerland, and Kerry Hatchouel and her husband Carl of Peabody; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Alicia was predeceased by her siblings Margaret, Helen, George, and Marian.
Alicia was a member of the Nahant Sodality and a former employee of the J.B. Blood Company, National Wholesale, and Star Market.
She will always be remembered for her friendly personality, passion for life, and her love and pride for family.
The family will be eternally grateful for the wonderful care and support provided by Care Dimensions, Greater Lynn Senior Services, and FCP (Family Care Providers), with heartfelt thanks especially to Princess for her unwavering devotion.
Service information: Her funeral will be held on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019 at 9 a.m. from the SOLIMINE Funeral Home, 67 Ocean St. (Route 1A), Lynn, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Nahant. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
