LYNN — Theresa Marie (Valente) Muolo, 62, of Lynn, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at her home.

Born in Cambridge, on November 16, 1956, Theresa was the daughter of the late Pierino J. and Katherine M. (Banks) Valente; the devoted and loving mother of Christopher and Matthew Muolo, both of Lynn and their father, Richard Muolo of Florida; the beloved sister of Jana Conway and her husband, Philip of Lynn and the late Nancy Gorman; dear sister-in-law of Timothy Gorman of Lynn; and the cherished aunt of Matt, Philip and Patrick Conway and Daniel and Jennifer Gorman, all of Lynn.   Theresa also leaves several cousins, extended family members and friends.

Theresa was educated in Lynn and attended Sacred Heart Elementary school, Breed Middle School and graduated from Lynn Vocational Technical High School with the Class of 1975, in the Culinary Arts program.  For over 30 years Theresa worked as a home health aide and companion for Associated Home Care in Lynn, formerly part of Greater Lynn Senior Services. Prior to that Theresa worked in food services at Lynn Hospital for over 10 years.

Theresa was best known for helping people.  She was a warm, kind-hearted caregiver of, not only, and especially, of her sons, Matt and Chris, but for their friends, neighbors, as well as, people she knew that were in need.  She always put other’s needs before her own. An extremely devoted mother, she most enjoyed raising her sons, participating in their activities, including being their number one fan and cheerleader at their basketball games when they were younger.  So full of life and joy, she delighted in opening her home to others; preparing meals and making them feel that her home was their home. Theresa also enjoyed playing cards and bingo with her family and friends, and was an active member of Sacred Heart Parish.  She was also an animal lover, caring for many pets over the years, including those she left behind, her dogs, Daisy and Diesel and cats, Piffany and Bella.
