Thomas M. O’Shea

Thomas M. O’Shea passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Oct. 30, 2018.

Tom was the son of the late Elizabeth (Goff) O’Shea and Arthur O’Shea. He was born in Lynn and lived in Nahant for the past 50 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II aboard the USS Baltimore in the Pacific Ocean. He retired from General Electric with more than 42 years service.

Tom is survived by his daughters, Patricia and her husband Frank, Nancy and her husband Brian, Judith and Ronald Murphy; and his son, Tom and his longtime companion Martha Valleriani. He leaves six grandchildren, Kevin, David, Mark, Elizabeth, Lauren and Brian; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Nahant.

Service information: Visiting hours are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 2, 2018 at SOLIMINE Funeral Home, 67 Ocean St. in Lynn from 4-7 p.m. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Solimine Funeral Home, 67 Ocean St. (Route 1A), Lynn, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Nahant. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nahant.
