LYNN — Ioannis Parisis, age 85, of Lynn, died early Sunday morning, September 30, 2018. He was the husband of Martha (Lallas) Parisis, with whom he shared 57 years of marriage. Born and raised in Patra, Greece, he is the son of the late Panagiotis and Athena (Perati) Parisis. He had lived in Greece for the greater part of his life, and had resided in Lynn for the past 23 years. Ioannis enjoyed good food and spending time with his family. He is remembered as a hard worker.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his three sons and daughters-in-law, as well as nine grandchildren; Kostas Parisis, his wife Angela and their children; Martha, Margarita, Yiannis and Alexandria; Theodore Parisis, his wife Angela and their children; Martha, Ioannis and Georgios; and Sarantis Parisis, his wife Eleni and their children, Ioannis and Margarita.
Service information: His funeral will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. from the SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rt 129), Lynn, followed by a Funeral Service in St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Lynn at 12 p.m. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
