LYNN — Dianne F. Gourdeau passed away on her 74th birthday, Aug. 26, 2018 in Salem Hospital.
Born in Beverly on Aug. 26, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Veronique (Morin) Gourdeau. Dianne was raised and educated in Danvers and graduated from Holten High School in 1964.
She was employed as a machinist for many years with General Electric. She had been active in sports while in high school and continued to play softball for many years for the General Electric team.
She is survived by her siblings and their spouses, Robert and Sondra Gourdeau of Leominster, Mary Gorman of New Hampshire, Theresa and Richard Brown of Peabody and Linda and Roger Moore of New Hampshire, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Raymond and Wilfred Gourdeau, and her sister, Rita St. Pierre.
Service information: Her funeral service will be held at noon on Friday, Aug. 31, 2018 at C.R. LYONS & SONS, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Saint Mary Cemetery, Salem. Visitation will be held in the funeral home prior to the service on Friday morning from 10-11:45 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
