NORTH ANDOVER — Robert J. Savard, 85, formerly of North Andover died August 22, 2018 at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lynn on October 2, 1932.

Bob graduated from Edward F Searles High School in Methuen in 1951. He served in the Air Force from 1952 until 1960. He worked at Bolta in Lawrence, Regalite Plastics in Needham and retired to working in Whittier Rehab Hospital in Haverhill until he was 80. He was an avid sports fan who loved the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and Celtics and was happy to see all 4 of them win multiple championships in his lifetime.

Bob is survived by his wife Peggy Savard of Haverhill. He has three sons: David and his wife Beth of Derry, N.H., Gary and his wife Susanne of Sturbridge and Thomas and his wife Daniela of North Chelmsford. He has 2 step-daughters Lisa Daniels wife of Robert Daniels of Merrimac and Patricia Sciaudone wife of Richard Sciaudone of York, Maine. He has 6 grandchildren: William Savard, Sara Savard, Korianka Savard, Emily Daniels, Anthony Sciaudone and Andrew Sciaudone.

Bob’s first wife Roselline Linda Savard passed away October 26, 1993. He is pre-deceased by 2 brothers, Lawrence Savard and Alfred Savard and a sister, Helen Crosslyn. He is survived by a sister Doris Ferretti and her husband Bruno of Sandwich; a brother Richard Savard and his wife Linda of Palmer, his sisters in law, Carol Savard of Salem, N.H., Kathy Sullivan of Milton, Cynthia Rounds of Wells, ME and a brother in law Peter White of Lynn and many nieces and nephews.

Service information: Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Monday August 27, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third Street, North Andover, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday August 28, 2018 at 10 a.m. in St. Michael’s Church, 196 Main Street, North Andover, MA. Burial will follow in Ridgewood Cemetery, North Andover, MA.
