Jean P. Vannah, 86

LARGO, Fla. — Mrs. Jean P. (Cullen) Vannah, age 86, of Largo, Fla., formerly of Lynn, passed away on June 1, 2018 under hospice care. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Vannah.

Born in Swampscott on Nov. 2, 1931, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Alma (Gran) Cullen. She was a graduate of Lynn English High School, Class of 1949, attended Salem College in Winston-Salem, N.C. She lived in Lynn for the greater part of her life, and formerly worked at Jeol USA in Peabody.

Jean attended Largo Alliance Church and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Jean loved reading, Bingo and playing cards with friends. She enjoyed her annual pass to Busch Gardens and all her Boston sports teams.

Jean was the mother of Lee J. Shannon of Mexico, of Lon Eldridge and his wife Susan of Lynn, of the late Laurie K. Eldridge, and of Joanne K. McLean and her husband Brian Segouin of Largo, Fla. She was the grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Service information: Graveside service with burial of ashes will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 1 p.m. in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
