LYNN — Alfredo Feula, age 91, of Lynn, died Monday, June 4, 2018 in Florida, after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Emma (Spagnolo) Feula, with whom he shared 64 years of marriage.
Born and raised in Fondi, Latina, Italy, he was the son of the late Onorato and Gilda (Stravato) Feula. He came to the United States in 1956, residing in Lynn since that time.
Alfredo worked as a machinist at General Electric in Lynn for many years, until his retirement at age 60. Prior to that, he had worked as a shoe cobbler in Italy. He was a very happy man who enjoyed dancing, making his own wine, and planting his own garden. He and his wife enjoyed winters in Florida, and loved to travel; including numerous cruises and trips to Italy and Las Vegas. He also enjoyed socializing with his friends.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by two children, Gilda Oljey and her husband Dennis of Swampscott, and Dean Feula of Lynn; three grandchildren, Sean Peters, Gregory Peters, and Austin Feula; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Carmina Rotunno and Antonio Feula, and grandfather of the late Christopher Peters.
Service information: His funeral will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. from the SOLIMINE Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Route 129), Lynn, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Pius V Church, Lynn. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
