LYNN — Steffe H. (Ostrowski) Dembowski, age 97, of Lynn, died Saturday, May 12, 2018, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Henry W. Dembowski and the late Joseph Dembowski.
A lifelong Lynn resident, she was the daughter of the late Stanislaw and Anna (Rydzewska) Ostrowski. She was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School.
Steffe loved her job as an aide at Lynn Hospital and Jesmond Nursing Home in Nahant. She was involved with many of the resident social activities at Abbott House Nursing Home, where she resided for nearly three years. She enjoyed the bingo, music, and entertainment there, as well as the Bible Club.
She is survived by three children, Sandy and her husband Bob, Michael, and Daniel and his wife Wendy; her grandchildren, Henry, David, Robert and his wife Tess, Cheryl, Michele, Glen and his wife Chantal, Lisa Marie, Danielle and Eric; her great-grandchildren, Charlie, Harry, Jessica, Ryan, Corey, Olivia, Louie, Glen, Ben, Alana and Dominic; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Henry and his wife Martha; her sisters, Sophie, Stella and Lottie, and her beloved dog, Priscilla.
Service information: Her memorial service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the SOLIMINE Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Route 129), Lynn. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visitation will be on Friday from 10-11 a.m., prior to the service.
