RAYMOND, N.H. — Faye D. McKenney, 74, died April 14, 2018 at her home in Raymond, N.H.
She was born June 18, 1945 in Lynn, daughter of the late Orman J. Melanson and Agnes (Redmond) Melanson.
Faye grew up and lived the majority of her life in Lynn. She was previously married for 25 years to John S. McKenney. When her children were young, Faye stayed home to care for the six children. Later, she volunteered and worked in the school lunch program, was an EMT, and did custodial work for the municipalities and schools all employments in Lynn. In 1996, Faye moved with her companion, Dave Woodland, to Madison, N.H., where she resided for 15 years. She also wintered in Venice, Fla., for 15 years before moving to Raymond, N.H.
Her hobbies included vegetable and flower gardening, and frequenting thrift shops and yard sales.
She was predeceased by her son, Michael McKenney, and her companion, Dave.
Faye is survived by her son, Richard McKenney of Raymond, N.H., son, Joseph McKenney, son, John McKenney, and son, Donald McKenney, all three of Lynn; daughter, Tammy Turner of New Hampshire, many grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; brother, Orman Melanson of Maine, brother, William Melanson of Massachusetts, brother, Lee Melanson of New Hampshire, brother, Edmund Melanson of Maine, brother, Daniel Melanson of Maine; and sister, Marie Burleigh, and numerous nieces and nephews.
