SAUGUS — Mr. Walter C. DiNardo, age 87, died on April 11 at the North Medical Center, Salem Hospital. He was the husband of the late Antonetta L. (Albaro) DiNardo.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Dominic and Maria (Reccia) DiNardo. A mechanical engineer for the federal government, Mr. DiNardo was a member of Council 1829 Saugus Knights of Columbus and 4th Degree member of the John F. Kennedy Assembly.
He is survived by two children, Albert J. DiNardo of Saugus and Gina Sayles of Rhode Island. He was the cherished grandfather of Maria and Christina Sayles. Mr. DiNardo was predeceased by his son Walter D. DiNardo, his brother Albert DiNardo, and sisters Laura Ficcaglia and Lydia Mattaroccia.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Saugus Senior Center, 466 Central St., Saugus, MA 01906.
