SAUGUS — Mr. Robert W. Zachko Jr. died on Wednesday, August 2 at the Rosewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Peabody, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was just 64 years of age.

Born in Lynn, he had been a resident of Saugus for the last 45 years. A truck driver with U.S. Foods, Mr. Zachko was a member of Teamsters Local #25.

He is survived by his twin daughters, Nikki Zachko and Noelle Zachko both of Medford (formerly of Saugus); and his former spouse and lifelong friend, Toni Zachko of Saugus. Mr. Zachko was the brother of Edgar Zachko of South Berwick, Maine, Diane Swain of Sanbornville, N.H., Peter Zachko of St. Croix, USVI and the late Linda Moran. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Bob cherished his family and friends, enjoyed spending time at the pool and the beach, loved music (especially the blues), and loved all sports, especially theBoston teams.

Service information: A Celebration of Life will be held at the BISBEE-PORCELLA Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., Saugus, on Saturday, August 12 at noon. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. For directions & condolences BisbeePorcella.com.
