LYNN — Mr. Dennis W. Bishop Sr., 45, of Lynn, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 24, 2017.
He was the husband of Donna J. (Comeau) Bishop. He was born in Lynn the son of the Dennis A. and Evelyn (Homer) Bishop.
Dennis was employed as a Chemical Operator for CL Hathaway in Lynn for nine years.
Dennis enjoyed visiting his grandson in Rhode Island. They played baseball together and he loved to take him for rides to get ice cream. Dennis would take great pride in his grandson, they would laugh endlessly together. They gave each other pure happiness, even in the saddest of times. He loved his children deeper than words can be found. As for his wife, she was his foundation and whole world. The love between them is a connection that will never disappear. Their marriage is one that will be cherished for all time. Dennis also enjoyed going to his friend, James’ house, to start a fire and drink with friends.
May we always remember Dennis for the strong, loving, funny man that he was. May his journey on this new chapter of life be well. He is now in a pain free life along the side of his loving mother, and his soul will always be alongside of those he leaves behind.
In addition to his wife Donna with whom he shared 22 years of marriage, he is survived by a daughter Jacquelyn E. Comeau, a son Dennis W. Bishop Jr., three sisters, Deborah Bishop, Carol Bishop Jenkins, Cheri Bishop, a grandson, Matthew James Gentili as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Service information: Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017, from 4-8 p.m. in the SOLIMINE Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Rte 129) Lynn. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the family.
