Ring and his wife Betty of Lynn and Sanborn, Maine. He also leaves his uncle James Ring of Manchester, N.H. as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, all of who adored their “Uncle Mike.” In addition to his family, Mike also leaves his lifelong best friend, John Kallelis of Wolfeboro, N.H. He was employed at the General Electric Company in Lynn as a production worker in the Turbine Division for 18 years, prior to his leaving due to health issues. Mike was a proud member of the Franco American Am Vets Post #161 in Lynn where he spent many days sharing a good laugh, talking politics, sports, and solving problems of the world! He often referred to his many friends at the club as his “other family.” Mike was a passionate sports fan that followed all sports at the high school, college and professional levels. He could often be found on many warm summer nights cheering on the girls’ softball teams at Frye Park in Lynn. He also enjoyed playing cards and his weekly pool games. In his younger days, he loved to travel to Las Vegas and Foxwoods and was an avid camper who spent many summers at the Sebago Lake State Park in Casco, Maine. His family and friends will always remember Mike fondly for his unique personality and wonderful sense of humor.
