PLAISTOW, N.H. — Meredith A. (Cunningham) Gray, age 71 years, of Plaistow, N.H., formerly of Marblehead, died Sunday, March 27, 2016, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice in Haverhill, after a brief illness. She was the wife of Robert A. Gray, and the daughter of the late Gertrude Y. Cunningham. Born in Salem, she was raised in Marblehead. She graduated from Marblehead High School, Class of 1962. She moved to Plaistow with her husband Robert in 1988. Meredith was a homemaker who enjoyed knitting and spending time with her grandchildren, never missing a baseball game or dance recital.
Besides her husband Robert of almost 53 years, she is survived by her daughter, Susie Likins and her husband, Skip, of Marblehead, and Robert J. Gray of Plaistow, N.H., grandchildren, Shawn Likins of Riverview, Fla., Sarah Likins of Davie, Fla., and Susie Emily Likins of Marblehead, and her sisters, Martha Ingalls of Lynnfield, Trudy Stroup of Colora, Md., and Susie Crowninshield of Middletown, R.I. She also leaves her mother-in-law, Rose M. Gray of Coshocton, Ohio, several nieces and nephews, and her cat, Sweetie. She was the sister of the late Daniel Cunningham.
Service information: A memorial service will be held in the SOLIMINE Funeral Home, 426 Broadway, (Route 129) Lynn, on Saturday at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be Friday from 4-7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
