LYNN — Mr. David H. Joseph, age 66, of Lynn, passed away at his home on March 13, 2017.
Born and educated in Boston, he was the son of the late Virginia Williams. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. David worked as an electrical inspector for the jet engine aviation unit at GE for more than 40 years until his retirement in 2010.
David was the loving father of Barbara Joseph of Eagle River, Alaska; the beloved friend and companion of Joanne Mackie of Skowhegan, Maine; the dear brother of the late William Fisher and Nancy Joseph and surviving siblings Dorothy Watson, Frank Fisher, both of Boston, Carol and her husband Danny Tavares of Pawtucket, R.I., Anthony Joseph and his wife Christine of Lynn; the uncle of many nieces and nephews and the close friend of Carol Babson of Lynn.
David enjoyed fishing, loved music, especially jazz, being out in mother nature and also liked electronics and gadgets.
Service information: David’s funeral service will be held at the CUFFE-McGINN Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn, on Friday, March 31 at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 noon prior to the funeral on Friday, March 31 in the funeral home.
