Sue B. Beliveau, 97

NORTH ANDOVERSue Barbara Beliveau, 97, of North Andover, passed peacefully on Easter Sunday, March 27, after a brief illness.

Born in Swampscott, she was the eldest daughter of Angelo and Angelina (Modugno) Palleschi. She was educated in the Swampscott school system and worked tirelessly for many years, retiring from Marshall’s in 1986.

She attended Holy Family Parish and was a dedicated member of the Woman’s Holy Family Sodality in Lynn. She was raised in a large and loving Italian family and always felt that her greatest accomplishment was her own family whom she cherished.  

She was predeceased by her husband of many years, George Beliveau of Lynn, her brother, Carl Palleschi and wife Edna of Marblehead, her brother, Orlando Palleschi and wife Dorothy of Swampscott, her brother, Rinaldo Palleschi of Lynn, her brother, Michael Palleschi and wife Joan of Swampscott, her sister, Florence DePaolo and husband John of Peabody, her brother, John Palleschi of Peabody, her brother, Charles Palleschi of Revere, and her brother-in-law, Donald Beliveau and wife Rita of Lynn.

She is survived by her beloved sons, Arthur Dickey and his wife Patricia of North Andover, with whom she resided, and George Beliveau and his wife Vicki of Raleigh, N.C.; as well as her grandchildren, Arthur, Steven, Kristen, Elena and Alexandra Dickey and Renee Geisler and Toby Beliveau, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving sister, Esther Michaud of Swampscott,  her sisters-in-law, Yvonne Palleschi of Lynn, Gloria Palleschi of Revere and Betty Palleschi of Peabody, and many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

Service information: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at the SOLIMINE Funeral Home, 67 Ocean St. (Route 1A), Lynn. Her funeral will be celebrated on April 1, 2016 beginning at 9 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at Holy Family Church, 67 Bessom St., Lynn, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Swampscott Cemetery.
