LONDONDERRY, N.H. — Agnes R. Marquis, 74, of Londonderry, N.H., died Thursday, March 17, 2016, at her home. Mrs. Marquis was born in Peabody on July 12, 1941, a daughter of the late Elias “Louis” and Dorothy (Perry) Karakaedos. She had been a resident of Lynn for 31 years, before moving to Derry and Londonderry 25 years ago. She and her late husband, Joseph Marquis Sr., had been very active in St. Joseph’s Church and the Lynn community. She enjoyed and loved doing arts and crafts with her family and friends. She also enjoyed reading books on the Amish.
She is survived by her children, Rosemarie Fielding, Joseph Marquis Jr., and his wife, Denise, Charles Marquis, and Michael Marquis and his wife, Tammy, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, four brothers, Robert Karakaedos and his wife, Joanne, Andrew Karakaedos, John Sharkey and his wife, Linda, and William Sharkey and his wife, Patricia, two sisters, Suzanne McIntosh and her husband, Gordon, and Katherine Giordani and her husband, Albert, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Sevestos “Sam” Karakaedos, Helen “Elaine” Hunter, George Karakaedos, Andres Karakaedos, and Anastasia Voyiagis.
Service information: Calling hours were held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, from 5 –7 p.m., in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry.
