Glen Lougee was born and raised in Laconia, N.H., the son of the late Arlo and Verda Lougee. Growing up, Glen was a popular and spirited young man. He was proud of his Scottish heritage and became an accomplished bagpipe player. He graduated from Laconia High School, Class of 1941 and was the class president. Following his service during WWII, Glen worked for DuMont Television in New York City. After receiving his master’s degree, he became a biology teacher and taught at Stoneham High School.
