EXETER, N.H. — Joseph John Gentile Jr., 79, of Exeter, N.H., went home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 18, 2016. He was a loving, faithful son, brother, husband, father and friend; a man of integrity and humor.
He was the loving husband for 10 years of his wife Esther (Lesiak Day) Gentile, and also leaves behind his siblings Dennis Gentile, and Kathleen and Anthony Villannucci, Auntie Ann Giampiethro, Aunt “Honey” Dentremont, Uncle Phil and Aunt Jaqui Gentile, his beloved children Terri-Ann (Gentile) and Gerald Dellarusso, Joseph Gentile III, Diana Gentile, Eric John and Ashley Gentile, Tim and Cheryl Day, Jennifer Day, Derek and Rebecca Day, and Stephen Day. He was so proud of his grandchildren Joseph IV, Dylan, Jacob, Riley, Zoey, Johanna, Anthony, Josiah, Meghan, Sarah, Nathan and Anna.
He is predeceased by his infant son Joey, parents Ann (Giampietro) and Joseph Sr., and beloved wife of 43 years Theresa M. (Dionne), and uncle and friend Bill Giampiethro, with whom he got into many shenanigans.
After his retirement, Joe often spoke fondly of his friends at Four Square Press in Boston, Sudbury Binder in Malden, Daniel’s Printing in Everett, Gentile Bridal Shop and his community in Saugus and the Boston area.
